BUSINESS & LOGISTICS

The unit is responsible for sponsor scouting and relationship development, conducts Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) activities, manages project scheduling through Gantt planning, and coordinates team events and logistics.

DESIGN

Bridges creativity and engineering, managing both the team’s visual identity (graphics, videos, content creation for socials) and the design of the boat and livery. It represents the link between external communication and the aesthetic development of the boat.

DYNAMICS & CONTROL

Focused on the development of mathematical models, performance simulators, digital twins, and propeller design, using CFD and FEM simulations to optimize boat performance and hydrodynamic efficiency.

ENERGY

The unit researches and tests advanced sustainable energy storage technologies, from next-generation batteries and hydrogen to innovative solutions like compressed air and kinetic storage. It designs, simulates and experimentally validates integrated energy systems for the next generation.

POWERTRAIN

Focused on the design and development of transmission systems, supported by FEM analysis and CAD modeling tools, up to the integration of the transmission system on the propulsion pod.

POWERTRAIN ELECTRICS

The unit designs, develops and tests the electric powertrain. Key responsibilities include battery development, wiring management and electric motor optimization and control. It also oversees mechanical integration, motor thermal management (CFD, CAD cooling design) and rigorous bench testing to validate models and evaluate overall performance.

SOFTWARE & ELECTRONICS

The unit is in charge of the design of electronic boards and firmware, the integration of telemetry systems, and the development of the driver interface, ensuring reliable communication between human and machine.

STRUCTURES

Responsible for CAD design and optimization of structural components, using 3D printing and composite lamination techniques, combined with FEM analysis to ensure
strength and efficiency.
